• Hummingbird now open

  Hummingbird is now open! 4 floors of unique eclectic fantasy entertainment where you can hire karaoke booths and eat and drink and sing the night away. It's a stage set for the biggest fun night out in Glasgow. Graven designed the interior, the graphics and the wallpaper, tiles, mini bars and the lighting.

• Graven and Graves

  Graven Images and Michael Graves Architects will be working together on the design on the new Missoni Hotel in Oman. Graven Images will be working closely with Italian fashion house Missoni to develop the interior design concept for the beach front resort hotel south of Muscat. "Its a stunning setting, with amazing beaches, a new Marina and backdrop of amazing mountains" said Graven director Ross Hunter. The eagerly awaited first Missoni Hotel will open in Edinburgh this summer, quickly followed by the Missoni in Kuwait, both with interiors delivered by Graven Images. Graven Images is no stranger to high profile collaborations, previously working with architects such as Enric Miralles, David Chipperfield and CZWG.

• Student Loans Company project nominated for Scottish Design Award

  Graven Images' workplace brand 3FOLD has been nominated for a Scottish Design Award for the interior design of the Memphis project for Student Loans Company, Darlington.

• Students win place at Graven Images

  2 lucky students were awarded a placement in our studio. Leonardo Bercovic Sisack and Noelia Canizares Majek of the National University of Tucuman, Argentina spent 2 weeks in our studio after they won Dalsouple's design competition.

• Verres en Vers Vilnius wins top award

  The Graven Images designed brasserie Verres en Vers, at the Radisson in Vilnius, Lithuania has won the title of Best New Restaurant 2009 by Vilnius Now! magazine. This is the first of these to be completed after the launch of the brand concept in Dublin last year. Graven Images is working with The Rezidor Hotel Group on a number of international projects in Europe and the Middle East, including the Missoni Hotel in Edinburgh, due to open in June.

  We have just been commissioned by Tadmur Real Estate in Doha to design the interior of a new aparthotel for BridgeStreet. The apartments and public spaces are contained within a 47 storey tower.

• BBC HQ wins BCO Award

  BBC Scotland HQ was crowned regional winner in the Corporate Workplace category at the British Council of Offices awards ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel, London.

• New product range from Graven Images and Harris Tweed Hebrides

  Working with Harris Tweed Hebrides, we have created a new range of products and fabrics for interior designers and architects. The new collection, designed and manufactured to meet contract specifications, will be launched at 100% Design at Jingu Gaien-mae, in the heart of Tokyo in October 2008.

  BBC Scotland's new Headquarters at Pacific Quay has been named as one of the "Best British Buildings" at the 2008 RIBA Awards.

  Graven Images won a Scottish Design Award in the interior design category for the newly completed BBC HQ at Pacific Quay in Glasgow.
