Merchant City Futures

We were immensely proud to play a part in organising the Merchant City Futures research event. Around 70 Merchant City people, stalwarts from the past and new faces of the future came along and listened to some fantastic, informative and inspiring presentations, and discussed future visions in the afternoon workshops. With the data gathered at the event, Graven Images, working with Urban Lab and Merchant City Initiative, will create a graphic manifestation of the vision, and produce a publication. We’re hugely pleased to be involved, as the Merchant City is our home! A big thank you to those who attended, debated, drew and contributed. And to Morag, Elaine and Alan from the studio who were a great help. Watch this space!

We are genuinely excited about the energy and enthusiasm at the event, and we have great optimism for the future of the Merchant City.
