Monte Carlo Rally starts at Blythswood Square

On the 27th January 2011, The Monte Carlo Rally will return to its original starting point for its 100th Anniversary, outside Blythswood Square, the former Royal Scottish Automobile Club. Blythswood Square was one of eight official starting points of the 1955 Monte Carlo Rally.

Fifty vintage rally cars will drive in convoy from George Square to Blythswood Square at 4.00pm and will park in front of the hotel ready for the start of the Rally, which starts at 6.30pm.

We’ll be there to wave the cars off!
